Walter William Zientek passed away peacefully on January 28 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. Born on June 4 1951 in Milford Connecticut Walter later made his home in Northford with his wife Wendy where they built a life rooted in love family and quiet devotion. Married for 53 years Walter and Wendy moved to Northford in 1975 and built a life there raising their family and making it home for the next 50 years. They met as kids and grew up together sharing a bond that only deepened with time. Wendy was the center of his world his constant and his greatest joy. Kevin Hoadley

Kevin was born in New London County to Rose and Charles on January 21 1953. He attended Valley Regional High School where his talent and love for sports showed. He was a threeseason athlete playing varsity football basketball and baseball and was highly regarded in the sports community at VRHS. He continued his love of sports during his time at Dean Junior College where athletics and teamwork remained an important part of his life as he played varsity basketball. Kevin spent much of his postcollegiate working life in landscaping taking pride in handson work. He enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors. Kevin is survived by his two daughters Christina Hoadley 32 and Elizabeth Hoadley 29 his sister Catherine Poindexter and his longterm partner of over 15 years Victoria Shorey.
