John Rogalewski, devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 6, 1930 in Rozental, Poland to his parents, Franciszek and Franciszka Rogalewski.After leaving Poland at a young age, he spent the next few years serving on the MS Sobiecki which landed him in the United States. He eventually immigrated to New Britain where he met his wife, Helena, and started his family. While in New Britain, he found community within the Polish Falcons of America and developed lifelong friendships with fellow members. He took great pride in his membership, reaching the status of Gold Legion of Honor, the highest level of service to the organization.After years of dedicated service, John retired in 1960 from New Britain Machine and spent his retirement enjoying family trips to the beach, Falcon picnics and rooting for the…

Massimo Lantieri 49 of Glastonbury CT passed away unexpectedly at Hartford Hospital on February 7 2026. He was the beloved husband of Maria Pina Scionti Lantieri and devoted loving father to his two greatest treasures Vittoria and Luke. Born on July 23 1976 in Hartford CT Massimo was the son of Sebastiano and Theresa Tiralongo Lantieri. He grew up in Hartford andWethersfield where his lifelong passion for Taekwondo began at the age of five. A thirddegree black belt he became a fivetime consecutive State Champion by age 15 and placed first in the lightweight division at the Junior Olympics. Taekwondo profoundly shaped his character and commitment. Massimo graduated from Wethersfield High School and earned his bachelors degree from Central Connecticut State University.
