Nicklas is survived by his loving wife Kayla West his son Jensen West his mother Deana West his father Mickey West his sister Hannah West Brodie his brother Jessie West and his mother and fatherinlaw Wanda and Frankie Long. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jib and Gene Westhis grandfather William Bill Atkins and aunt Regina West. Nicklas enjoyed playing video games building Legos fishing with his son Jensen and spending time with him whenever he could. Being a father was one of his greatest joys and he cherished every moment they shared together. Visitation will be held at 500 PM on February 13 2026 at Lupton First Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 700 PM at the church.

Dorothy Jane Anderson age 96 of Jasper Alabama passed away peacefully on February 12 2026. She was born on October 4 1929. Dorothy was a lifelong and devoted member of the Church of God. Her faith was the foundation of her life and a guiding light to her family and friends. She found great joy in sewing and was known for her talent and creativity. Dorothy also loved planting flowers in her yard taking pride in keeping her home bright and beautiful. She is survived by her loving sons Gerald Stewart Charlotte and Terrell Stewart her sister Betty Wells as well as extended family and friends who will cherish her memory. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 14 from 1000 a.m. until 1100 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 1100 a.m. Burial will follow at Boldo Cemetery.
