Helen Ruth Barham age 86 of Fayette AL passed away on Monday February 9 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 12 2026 at 200pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Furnace Hill Cemetery. Bro. Randy Burbank and Bro. Greg Durr to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 100pm until 200pm. Helen was born on September 12 1939 in Gattman MS to the late Lois Pershing Cantrell and the late Fannie Lou Morris Cantrell. She was a 1957 graduate of Lucy Fowler Tech in Chicago IL. Helen previously worked at Reltoc. She was a very active and faithful member of Mt. Vernon Methodist Church. Helen liked to sew and loved being outdoors working in her garden and gathering flowers. Jewel B. Otts age 84 of Sulligent AL passed away on Tuesday February 10 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 13 2026 at 200pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Dalton Eason to officiate. Jewel was born on March 29 1941 in Sulligent AL to the late Flemmie Crawford and the late Inez Merchant Crawford. She graduated from Lamar County High School. Jewel previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing and Reltoc. She loved to read and color and also enjoyed being outside gardening. Listening to gospel music was one of her favorite things to do.
