Mr. Juan Antonio “Tony" Ramirez went to his Heavenly Father on November 7, 2017, in Tyler, Texas at the age of 66. A funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Jose Luis officiating .Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Memorial Gardens. A rosary will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the chapel of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Necessary to officiate the ceremony. Visitation will follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tony's life.

Tony is survived by: his wife, Magda Nanez Ramirez; his daughters, Lisa Ramirez Estrada and Rhiannon Marie Green; his brothers, Gilbert, Gus, and Rudy; his sisters Bertha,  Ana, Rosa and Martha; his grandchildren Sandra, Sheldon, Samantha, Jason, Rachel, and Alex; and his great-grandchildren, Colton, Caleb; and other members of his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arabelia Ramirez, and his father, Gilbert G. Ramirez.

Tony was born on March 20, 1951, in Tyler, Texas. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1970. He married Magda Nanez in 1981. 

Tony was fond of pool, golf, fishing, hunting, and was an avid collector. By working at Gilbert’s El Charro #1, he was, is and will forever be loved and missed by many people.
