Millie lived life to the fullest. She loved music, traveling, dancing, painting, tennis, golf and was an astute bridge player. She was a realtor in Austin for many years and received several awards for highest sales. Millie had a deep faith in her Lord and loved her church, serving on several boards and mission projects throughout her lifetime. She loved being surrounded by her family. When her grandchildren were growing up they each spent an entertaining week with her every summer. No matter how busy her schedule was, when family came to visit, she cleared her calendar to spend time with them. The love she shared with her family was her greatest achievement.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Ford and all the staff at Christus Trinity Mother Frances in Jacksonville for their compassionate care of our dear loved one.
If desired, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville, or a charity of your choice.
