Larry Jack Frazier, Sr. of White Oak, Texas passed away on January 12, 2018. He was 69 years old. Larry was born on September 16, 1948 to Jack and Margaret Frazier. He lived his entire life in White Oak, graduating from White Oak High School in 1967. In 1968, he married Cathy Kay Frazier, with whom he had five children. In 1984, he married Lori Frazier, spending 34 years together and gaining two daughters. In 2009, he graduated from LeTourneau University, fulfilling his lifelong dream of earning his college degree and becoming an elementary school teacher. He was a Master Plumber and owner of Frazier Plumbing for over 30 years. He served two terms on the WOISD Board of Trustees and was a fervent supporter of White Oak Athletics. To the dismay of some, he was a diehard New York Yankees fan. He loved to read and study the Bible and was a beloved Sunday School teacher at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church, and New Beginnings Baptist Church.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Lori Frazier; children: Larry J. Frazier, Jr. and wife Shawn; Ginger Berry and husband Kevin; Melanie Ware and husband Craig; Mendy Steelman and husband Bobby; Rachel Boudreaux and husband Billy; Melissa Miller and husband Brad; nephew: John Frazier and wife Amanda; grandchildren: Drew and Aidan Frazier; Kyle and Khloe Berry; Blake and Preston Ware; Samantha and Antonio Castiglione, Jeff and Jeremiah Steelman; William and Gracie Boudreaux; Terry, Dylan, Layne, and Layla Miller; grand-nephews: Jackson and Lucas Frazier; brothers: Bobby Frazier and wife Linda; Johnny Frazier; sister: Marilyn Mullikin and husband Hunter.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by one daughter: Mary Jane.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00, Saturday January 20 at New Beginnings Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
Larry lived a full life, surrounded by friends, family, and especially his grandchildren. He will be missed.
