Services for Dillion McDougal, 26, of Liberty City will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Luke Kimbley officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Dillion passed away on November 9, 2017.
Dillion was born on November 17, 1990 in Longview. He was the son of Joe Allen and Stephanie McDougal. Dillion attended Sabine Schools and Kilgore College. Dillion was a hard worker who had been previously employed with Rescar and was currently employed with Energy WeldFab. He was a kind-hearted man who loved his family and found great joy in spending time with his boys. Dillion loved to spend time with his family, he was an avid sports fan and loved music. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Dillion is survived by his wife Taylor McDougal of Liberty City; sons, Jacob Noah McDougal and Benjamin Abel McDougal both of Liberty City; unborn daughter, Lucy McDougal; mother, Stephanie McDougal of Liberty City; brothers, Joe Allen “Jed” McDougal, Jr. and wife Mel of Dallas and Matthew McDougal and wife Savanah of Liberty City; grandparents, Patsy McDougal of Liberty City and Walter and Marty Hudspeth of Kilgore; great grandmother Dorothy Worsham of Kilgore; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends. Dillion was preceded in death by his father, Joe Allen McDougal; grandfather Wayne McDougal; grandmother, Effie Hudspeth.
