October 16, 1938 - May 9, 2017
Robert John Dyer, 78, went to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior on May 9, 2017 at 10 a.m., leaving behind his soul mate and companion of 51 years, Georgia Marie Maguire Dyer and his children whom he loved and cherished. This continued for many years until 1997. Then he retired to do some other hobbies and businesses. The last being the wood shop in the garage building writing instruments that are now on display at the Weisman Center here in Marshall. The most compelling thing that happened in his life was when he made a profession of faith to follow Christ and he made that his mission to tell everyone he knew in Doctor’s offices and hospitals since that was where he spent a lot of his time during the last few years.
