Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lola Ann Raines, 76, of Beckville, Texas will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Langley Cemetery in Beckville, Texas with Rev. J.B. Morris officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday night at Hawthorn’s. Mrs. Raines died February 7, 2018 in Carthage, Texas
Mrs. Lola Ann Hightower Raines was born January 18, 1942 in Beckville, Texas. She was born to the marriage of Omer Edward “Dick” and Fannie Bell Brevard Hightower. She was raised in Beckville attending schools there. She would marry Leo Raines…. And they would celebrate of marriage. 
Ann would work for many years as a beauty operator and was the owner and operator of the Ann’s Flowers and Things. She was artistic and creative and loved to paint. Mrs. Raines was a longtime member of the Rockhill U.M.C. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jerry and James Hightower and a daughter, Melissa Gayle Raines.
Mrs. Raines is survived by her loving husband, Leo Raines of Beckville; daughter, Teresa Dixon and husband Ted of Beckville, Angie Raines of Longview; brother, Ricky Hightower of Beckville; sister, Shela Briery and husband Roy of Beckville; grandchildren, Jodie Dixon of Beckville, Tad Dixon and wife Angela of Mt. Enterprise, Christopher Baldobino and wife Meagan of Carthage, Amanda Youngblood and husband Justin of Beckville, Brandy Barr and husband Matt of Carthage; great grandchildren, Brody, Beckham, Garrett, Graclyn, Logan, Lance, Hailey, Lexie, and Matthew Jackson; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
